Press Brake Operator

Job Status

Full Time: $18.31- $23.54

Day Shift

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Reports To

The Press Brake Operator will report to the Steel Foreman.

Job Summary

The Press brake Operator will be responsible for the operation and fabrication in the Steel Department of the Electrical Power Products, Inc. facility. They will operate appropriate equipment for steel prep and fabrication and complete tasks with a great deal of precision. 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Read blueprints and structural drawings to plan layout and procedures. 
  • Determine appropriate equipment needed for a task.
  • Operate press brake on a daily basis. 
  • Complete steel fabrication, hanging doors for assembly, and building panels.
  • Maintain the condition of the equipment being used.
  • Sustain a clean working space.
  • Train other on the press brake

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fabrication, carpentry, press brake operating background or other related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Experience in using electrical and manual tools.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work alongside team members to get work completed efficiently. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to continuously speak, hear, and see (close up, distance, and depth perception).
  • Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling.
  • Commonly lifting/moving of up to 40 lbs. individually.
  • Occasionally lifting/moving 50-100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards.

Mounting Technician

Full Time: $17.18- $23.54

Reports To

The Mounting Technician will report to the Mounting Foreman.

Job Summary

The Mounting Technician will be an essential member of Electrical Power Products, Inc.’s production and assembly. This individual will be responsible for assembling and installing electrical structures and components per layout and wiring diagram drawings.   

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and assemble electrical panels.
  • Install electrical components per layout and wiring diagram drawings.
  • Fabricate cutouts in panels using a jigsaw.
  • Install nameplates, mimics, and term strips on electrical panels.
  • Review paperwork.
  • Verify all material matches the bill of materials.
  • Install protective material on top of the equipment.
  • Sign off on all completed work.
  • Inform leads of missing equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and well organized.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Experience in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to assist and support others.

Switchboard Electrician

Full Time: $16.36- $22.41

Reports To

The Switchboard Electrician in the Wiring Department will report to the Wiring Foreman.

Job Summary

The Switchboard Electrician will be an essential member of Electrical Power Products, Inc. production and assembly. This individual will complete the duties of a Utility Man, a Journeyman, in addition to all other responsibilities of this job.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Read wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Operate all shop tools and equipment.
  • Be familiar with and know how to perform all phases and types of panel wiring, such as bunch, bundle, gutter, and form wiring.
  • Install and wire instruments from a simple layout sketch or prints, wiring diagram, or schematic without further instructions.
  • Install all types of nameplates
  • Apply all kinds of mimic on panels, including tape, paint, and extruded.
  • Make a diligent effort to spot possible errors or discrepancies in all phases of work, including layout prints, wiring diagrams, or schematic, and bring them to the attention of the proper authority.
  • Provide for proper allowance for customer wiring and eliminate all interference.

  • Ability to assist and support others.

Enclosures Mechanical Technician

Full Time: $19.61- $26.15

Day Shift

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Description

The Enclosure Mechanical Technician will be responsible for completing mechanical work in control enclosures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete perimeter equipment mounting.
  • Install electrical conduits and raceways.
  • Power up and power down.
  • Set panels and termination cabinets.
  • Install battery systems in enclosures.
  • Assist in both loading and offloading of enclosures.
  • Prepare enclosures for shipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and well organized.
  • Well versed in the use of a tape measure and hand tools.
  • Ability to assist and support others.
  • Additional related training preferred.

Job Summary

The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabrication in the Steel Department of the Electrical Power Products, Inc. facility. They will operate appropriate equipment for welding and fabrication and complete tasks with a great deal of precision. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read blueprints and structural drawings to plan layout and procedures. 
  • Determine appropriate equipment needed for a task.
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
  • Complete steel fabrication, hanging doors for assembly, and building panels.
  • Weld components using various welding equipment. 
  • Maintain the condition of the equipment being used.
  • Sustain a clean working space.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Welding, carpentry, or other related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Experience in using electrical and manual tools.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and values attendance.
