Project Manager
Reports To
The Project Manager will report to the Sr. Project Manager.
Job Summary
The Project Manager will act as the company representative in tracking project schedules, budgeting, and project scope for the manufacturing of power management systems. These systems include protective relay panels, control systems, and control buildings for power generation, transmission, and distribution applications. The Project Manager will ensure the design meets the specifications detailed in the project.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as the company’s point of contact to customers regarding their projects.
- Manage and maintain project budgets, schedules, and functional correctness.
- Ensure projects are completed with the highest industry standards of quality.
- Design structural, schematic, and wiring diagrams for projects.
- Review others’ designs for accuracy.
- Work with and contribute to the engineering team in accomplishing tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs, Google and Wrike.
- Knowledge of CAD programs and Auto-CAD preferred.
- Ability to supervise others and improve processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach and move about regularly.
- Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Regular exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
Quality Control Inspector
Reports To
The Quality Control Inspector will report to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00
Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector will inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they go through the different departments of Electrical Power Products, Inc. These departments include steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards and the customer’s bill of materials.
- Document deficiencies and errors of products and confirm corrections of these errors.
- Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in wiring or quality assurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.
- Exercise common sense when making decisions.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Well versed in a tape measure; preferably able to read 1/8 of inch.

- Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effort
- Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling

Job Summary:
The Quality Manager is a critical member of the EP2 leadership team…responsible for leading and growing a culture of quality and performance excellence every day! This is an exciting role…providing daily leadership for the continued development, execution and improvement of company quality systems, processes, procedures and instructions. This person will lead all QA and QC functions, ensure all products meet customer specifications and direct the plant’s Business Management System (ISO compliance programs, documentation programs, and internal audit process). This position will establish quality priorities and objectives while executing Quality Assurance strategies and tactical plans. This person will ensure ongoing compliance with all corporate guidelines, regulatory and customer requirements.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Reports: QA Manager, BMS Manager, Testing Supervisor, QC Supervisor
- Meets department strategic and tactical goals and manages all key department metrics
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department (maintain all schedules)
- Develops staffing plans and oversees hiring, training and performance management of team
- Grows team capability through training, development, certifications
- Focus on “best in industry” results and continual improvement
- Ongoing assessment and improvement of department tools, software and equipment
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality and function before shipping
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards for processes and products
- Communicates quality standards to QA team, Project Managers, Production and other appropriate staff
- Coordinates product inspection and testing processes
- Assists Project Managers with technical and other project related questions
- Identifies and analyzes issues, defects, and other problems, and recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues if necessary
- Performs final Admin inspections and sign-off on the finished product
- Drives company towards ISO Certification through strong/effective BMS implementation
- Performs other duties as assigned

Testing Technician
Reports To
The Testing Technician will report to the Testing Supervisor.
Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00
Job Summary
The Testing Technician will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test control panels and enclosures electrically. The Testing Technician will ensure wiring matches schematics and will troubleshoot and resolve errors when presented.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical assistance and resolution should electrical or engineering problems be encountered.
- Modify electrical parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
- Implement quality assurance policies while performing inspections and function testing.
- Ensure the company products meet customer expectations.
- Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production.
- Operate hydraulic pallet jack.
- Act professionally at all times and occasionally represent the company while working with customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or six months to one year of experience.
- Working knowledge of AC & DC electrical circuitry.
- Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and computer-related applications.
- Familiarity with schematics.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and sharp attention to detail.
