Responsibilities and Duties

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Office programs and Google Workspace

Procurement Specialist (Buyer/ Purchasing Agent)

Reports To

The Procurement Specialist will report to the Procurement Manager. 

Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and services designed to meet the company’s operational needs while providing the highest possible value. They will obtain requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders and authorize payments.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate the purchase of materials, supplies and products.ย 
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of supplies and EP2 stock materials.
  • Track orders and ensure purchase orders are acknowledged and have a vendor ship date while tracking outstanding material.ย 
  • Work with Receiving Department on purchase order discrepancies, missing or wrong information and damaged material.ย 
  • Coordinate material returns/non-conforming material.ย 
  • Work with a free stock team member to manage incoming and outgoing free stock material.ย 
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors while sourcing new vendors.ย 
  • Approve and post invoices into Sequel.

Lead Maintenance Technician

Reports To

The Lead Maintenance Technician will report to the Facilities and Operations Manager.

Job Overview

The role will be responsible for general and routine maintenance and repair duties in the facility to ensure the building and equipment are operational, safe, and well maintained. This is a hands on maintenance position.

  • Rebuild and repair equipment in off-seasons to prepare for the next use cycle.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and material storage area.
  • Snow removal and application of ice melt for sidewalks, pedestrian doors, emergency exits, and overhead doors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with carpentry, drywall repair and finishing, painting, and floor repair.

  • Basic computer skills for emails, and CMMS.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Quality Control Inspector

Reports To

The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.

Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector will inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they go through the different departments of Electrical Power Products, Inc. These departments include steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
  • Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards and the customerโ€™s bill of materials.
  • Document deficiencies and errors of products and confirm corrections of these errors.
  • Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.

Testing Technician

Reports To

The Testing Technician will report to the Testing Supervisor.

Job Summary

The Testing Technician will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test control panels and enclosures electrically. The Testing Technician will ensure wiring matches schematics and will troubleshoot and resolve errors when presented.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide technical assistance and resolution should electrical or engineering problems be encountered.
  • Modify electrical parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
  • Implement quality assurance policies while performing inspections and function testing.
  • Ensure the company products meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production.

Project Estimator

The Project Estimator will report to the Estimating Manager.

Job Summary

The Project Estimator will work with the Estimating Team to develop technical proposals and complete the quoting of new and existing parts for an assortment of customers in the electrical field.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop quotes for existing and new products.
  • Estimate cost for material, labor, equipment, and tooling.
  • Obtain quotes for the manufacturing material.
  • Prepare cost data for quotes.
  • Serve as the initial reviewer for all sales-related contracts with both short term and long-term agreements.
  • Prepare formal proposals.
  • Directly communicate with customers in the form of quotations.
  • Manage several projects at one time while adhering to proposal due dates.
  • Define and document requirements; address technical concerns.
  • Interpret and work from engineering data to include drawings, specifications, and models.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the Estimating Department with data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Entry of part numbers from Bill of Materials (BOM) to validate pricing for customer bids.
  • Send out requests for pricing to vendors.
  • Update pricing in our Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Accurately scan and file an assortment of documents and folders.
