Production Leader
Reports To

Job Summary
At Electrical Power Products (EP2), we believe Quality Assurance always equates to Customer Satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key segment of the company’s production operations! EP2 Production Leaders oversee key production departments, processes and employees while monitoring job performance and productivity. The key focus will be on safety, quality, cost and customer delivery. This person will be responsible for managing multiple make to order products in a project driven environment. This personal will also be responsible for, coaching teams, resolving issues, and driving overall performance. This person will continue to cultivate a culture of teamwork, results and customer commitment. Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead Safety in all areas of the department(s). #1 Priority.
- Bring a customer-driven and quality focus to the entire team.
- Set performance goals and deadlines that align with the plans and vision of Electrical Power Products, Inc.’s plans and vision, and communicate this to the team. Meet daily and weekly production targets and goals.
- Own, manage and lead successful completion of production schedules for multiple projects at once.
- Drive First Time Quality and build products to company/customer specifications.
- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and tasks. Ensure projects are resourced and monitor progress through successful completion.
- Monitor employee productivity while providing constructive feedback.
- Receive complaints and resolve issues that may arise. Grow teamwork, coordination, cooperation and communication.
- Act as liaison between senior management and the department employees.
- Hire and train new employees. Embrace and promote growth and development.
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need presents itself.
Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering, business, construction management, or equivalent required. Other education and/or comparable experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 year experience as a manager or supervisor over a large team in a construction or manufacturing environment required.
- Strong combination of leadership, job functional skills and organizational skills a must.
- Experience in large scale manufacturing environment (make-to-order experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of best manufacturing practices (standardized work, Lean, flow, 5S, continuous improvement, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining deadlines
- Possesses general working knowledge of electrical-mechanical components, installation, and assembly. Mechanically inclined and aptitude to learn our products.
- Comfortable on both the shop floor and in the office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills, and be results-oriented.
- Ability to collaborate with other teams and team members.
- Experience Coach/mentoring direct and indirect reports.

Quality Control Inspector
Reports To
The Quality Control Inspector reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector will inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they go through the different departments of Electrical Power Products, Inc. These departments include steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards and the customer’s bill of materials.
- Document deficiencies and errors of products and confirm corrections of these errors.
- Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.
- Exercise common sense when making decisions.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effort
- Frequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handling
- Commonly lifting/moving of up to 40 lbs. individually
- Occasionally lifting/moving 50-100 lbs. with assistance
- Exposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards
Engineering Support
Reports To
The Engineering Support Associate will report to the Engineering Support Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Engineering Support Associate will work with all levels of the Engineering Team to complete various tasks. The Engineering Support Assoc. will be responsible for meeting deadlines of miscellaneous work as detailed in the responsibilities and duties below.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete point to points by verifying wire connections from one device to another in the same panel on a wiring diagram
- Produce device labels by taking information from each device label ID on the wiring diagram and entering that information to Excel
- Manually type, use AutoCAD or ESS programs to complete wire markers
- Enter information into the Term Strip template based on the information given by using special commands and steps in AutoCAD
- Produce nameplates files in AutoCAD using Excel or creating from scratch
- Draft or make changes to existing AutoCAD files
- Create files for AC/DC panel board cards and print on card stock paper for circuit breakers
- Scan provided drawings through a plotter in a specific order to a computer file
- Differentiate between and be able to read different types of drawings, including structural, layout, wiring diagram, schematic, etc
- Create control cable schedules and communication cable schedules

Testing Technician
Reports To
The Testing Technician will report to the Testing Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Testing Technician will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test control panels and enclosures electrically. The Testing Technician will ensure wiring matches schematics and will troubleshoot and resolve errors when presented.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical assistance and resolution should electrical or engineering problems be encountered.
- Modify electrical parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
- Implement quality assurance policies while performing inspections and function testing.
- Ensure the company products meet customer expectations.
- Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production.
- Operate hydraulic pallet jack.
- Act professionally at all times and occasionally represent the company while working with customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or six months to one year of experience.
- Working knowledge of AC & DC electrical circuitry.
- Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and computer-related applications.
- Familiarity with schematics.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and sharp attention to detail.

Project Estimator
Reports To
Will report to the Project Estimator Manager
Job Summary
The Project Estimator will work with the Estimating Team to develop technical proposals and complete the quoting of new and existing parts for an assortment of customers in the electrical field.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop quotes for existing and new products.
- Estimate cost for material, labor, equipment, and tooling.
- Obtain quotes for the manufacturing material.
- Prepare cost data for quotes.
- Serve as the initial reviewer for all sales-related contracts with both short term and long-term agreements.
- Prepare formal proposals.
- Directly communicate with customers in the form of quotations.
- Manage several projects at one time while adhering to proposal due dates.
- Define and document requirements; address technical concerns.
- Interpret and work from engineering data to include drawings, specifications, and models.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree or related experience preferred.
- Capability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to navigate through website portals for customers.
- Proficient in Google Suite with necessary computer skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work on pdf.
